Mova started because I was exhausted by the job search process. Not the job application and interview part, but the administrative slog that comes before it.

I was spending hours crawling job boards daily, opening too many tabs, and scanning job descriptions only to find hidden requirements that made the role an instant dealbreaker. I built the first version of Mova as a personal tool to solve that exact problem: eliminate the manual daily search, parse the fine print automatically, and surface only the roles where my experience genuinely matched. Then, I realized that finding the job is only half the battle. To actually land it, I needed leverage.

That is what led to the decision to build Mova into a complete application assistant designed to handle the research, spot experience gaps, and deliver a clear application strategy for every single role.

Why Mova will never “auto-apply” for you

You have probably seen platforms that promise to “apply to 500 jobs automatically while you sleep”. In our experience, mass auto-applying does more harm than good. It triggers ATS spam filters, burns bridges with recruiters, and leads to immediate auto-rejections. “Spray-and-pray” might work if you are looking for entry-level mass volume jobs, but Mova was built for intentional career moves where you are shooting for a promotion, pivoting industries, or landing a high-fit position.
